The Yankees just put Rico Garcia, they just released this, on the active roster.

He's the guy that they picked up after the Mets DFA'd him,

and they optioned Clayton Beter to AAA.

So I was an advocate of this.

I liked what I saw of Rico Garcia when I saw him pitch for the Mets,

and they had a clerical move that they had to make and make room for someone

that they had to bring up, and they designated him for assignment. Hopefully they were looking to get him to AAA. But the Yankees grabbed them. So it's a good pickup by the Yankees. And Clayton Beater has good stuff, but he's never really translated that good stuff into making it work at the major league level. So, you know, a small move, but a move the Yankees out to make.

They have to try to catch lightning in a bottle when it comes to relief pitching.

All right, so this is the story I'm talking about.
