welcome if you're just joining us we have a number of interesting stories today that we are

looking into and how about this one from Knoxville Danny white the AD says Tennessee

won't sheet in NIL like other schools in the portal Adam sparks with the story

that headline needs some

explanation. Adam, always great to hear from you. I, and I think many others, are eager to find out

what exactly is Danny White talking about here. Good afternoon. Good to be on, Paul. Yeah,

Danny's complaint specifically is about how he says he believes that NIL money is being offered in the portal.

There's a lot of ways to cheat in the portal in NIL, but specifically he says that a lot of schools are promising money that they can't guarantee.

What that means is schools can offer money in revenue sharing,

but they're not allowed under the rules to guarantee a certain amount of third-party money.

That's supposed to be done by third parties, by collectives and so on.

So that's his first complaint.

Number two, he thinks that schools are offering money to players in the portal

that they have no intention of submitting to the clearinghouse.

If NIL deal is over $600, the rule is you're supposed to submit it to NIL Go, which is the NIL Clearing House.

And if it's a legit, if it's legit name image and likeness, you know, it's supposed to go through.

Any corporate deals you do, like any ads, commercials and player do with like a corporation, those go through easily.
