We are rolling through the Wednesday edition of the program. Appreciate all of you hanging out with us. The Clippers. If you're just waking up, put away effective.

I believe the Dallas Mavericks would be a surprise to me. Frankly, I'd be shocked beyond belief if the Mavericks win two straight games after what we just saw last night.

And also the Lakers with a chance to close out their series alongside a Milwaukee bucks move on to the second round of the playoffs. Major League baseball. I might have jinxed it.

0:55.8

I said all 30 Major League baseball teams were going to be in action yesterday. Then we had a couple of rain outs. I think. But at least all 30 MLB teams were back up and rolling, which I think is a very good positive NHL playoffs continue to run through their playoff schedule as well.

You just heard Eddie Garcia kind of set the table for all of that. I am team off right now on what I see as political idiocy in terms of shutting down sports for the fall.

1:24.8

The governor of Michigan Gretchen Whitmer said she was glad the big 10 shut down. Glad that local kids are not going to be able to play high school sports this fall. It's totally nonsensical. If you look at all the data.

1:37.3

The mayor of my hometown Nashville Tennessee John Cooper is now disallowing local kids who go to public high schools from playing sports, even though all of the private school kids and all of the kids who go to schools in the surrounding communities are able to play.

1:55.3

This is utterly nonsensical. He should be ashamed of himself. I'm sick of idiot politicians who don't understand the importance of having kids back in school who don't understand the importance of having kids playing sports. All of it is driving me bonkers.

2:11.3

I am going off on it this morning. A lot of you want to weigh in as well. Appreciate all your calls. 877-9966369. We go to the out kick VIP line with Shane and New York City. Shane, what's up, my man?

2:24.3

I was in all state linebacker my senior year in high school. I'm 48 years old and that season is probably still the most incredible experience in my lifetime.

2:36.3

High school football means everything to a lot of kids and families. Governor Whitmer is a jackass and a hypocrite. She kept the state locked down as long as she could during the COVID outbreak, including

which was in the news, the ban on chisheen and boating and her husband, as you recall, tried to retrieve their own boat on their lake house during Memorial Weekend.

3:08.3

As you know, I live in New York here. They did in the New York Post just a merit of the blog. I was suggesting he's reluctant to restart indoor dining because it's an activity for middle and upper income New Yorkers that clashes with his pledge to transform the big apple's tail of two cities with progressive policies.

3:30.3

You still can't eat indoors, bars are still closed, gyms are still closed, a far radical left movement in states like New York and Michigan, and these cities across the country that are literally being burnt down in Chicago, Portland, Seattle, and now to NOSHA.

3:48.3

It's beyond disgusting and Clay, I know in your lifetime, you have never voted for Republican president, but come November third, my man, that's got to change.

4:02.3

I appreciate the call. I just, I don't understand how someone can look at the data and not allow a kid to play sports this fall.

4:18.3

Every single high school kid in America is orders of magnitude more likely to die of the seasonal flu than the coronavirus. Every single one of them in every single state to my knowledge, we have never shut down any sports season because of the seasonal flu.

4:44.3

It's utter nonsense, who's up next, who should we go to dub? We got Steve and Indianapolis Steve. Thanks for calling. What's up?

4:54.3

Great to talk you, Clay. Basically, you are a breath of fresh air and otherwise masked up world. This is absolutely ass nine. I graduated high school with a 2.09 GPA because I was allowed to play basketball.

5:13.3

I was allowed to play sports and I now have a college degree. I went on to go to college, I went on and did a bunch of things that I would not have otherwise been able to do. Had I not wanted to play sports so bad that I did at least the minimum that I needed to do to be able to graduate.
