The governor of Michigan Gretchen Whitmer said she was glad the big 10 shut down. Glad that local kids are not going to be able to play high school sports this fall. It's totally nonsensical. If you look at all the data.

The mayor of my hometown Nashville Tennessee John Cooper is now disallowing local kids who go to public high schools from playing sports, even though all of the private school kids and all of the kids who go to schools in the surrounding communities are able to play.

This is utterly nonsensical. He should be ashamed of himself. I'm sick of idiot politicians who don't understand the importance of having kids back in school who don't understand the importance of having kids playing sports. All of it is driving me bonkers.

I was in all state linebacker my senior year in high school. I'm 48 years old and that season is probably still the most incredible experience in my lifetime.

High school football means everything to a lot of kids and families. Governor Whitmer is a jackass and a hypocrite. She kept the state locked down as long as she could during the COVID outbreak, including

Every single high school kid in America is orders of magnitude more likely to die of the seasonal flu than the coronavirus. Every single one of them in every single state to my knowledge, we have never shut down any sports season because of the seasonal flu.

Great to talk you, Clay. Basically, you are a breath of fresh air and otherwise masked up world. This is absolutely ass nine. I graduated high school with a 2.09 GPA because I was allowed to play basketball.

I was allowed to play sports and I now have a college degree. I went on to go to college, I went on and did a bunch of things that I would not have otherwise been able to do. Had I not wanted to play sports so bad that I did at least the minimum that I needed to do to be able to graduate.
