former Marine Daniel Penny pleads not guilty in the death on the subway from a chokehold of Jordan Neely.

That headline today because Daniel Penny was at court earlier today to put in his plea.

Second time he's appeared before a judge.

He faces 19 years in prison if he were to be convicted on both counts.

So this is a moment in time where we're seeing that the authorities in

New York City in this case Alvin Bragg the district of the district attorney

here and also the mayor Eric Adams are taking aside in essence they're

they're allowing this to go forward.

They've made a determination that people that step in and try to prevent career criminals,

which is what Jordan Neely was, a man who had been arrested many times for violent crimes,

for sexual offenses, a man who recently

threatened to, according to a passenger of the subway, pushed somebody in front of an oncoming

subway car who had punched an elderly woman in the face, shattering her eye socket and

breaking her nose.

No reason.

Just felt like shattering an old lady's nose on the subway.

That we're going to treat somebody who is not even the only individual who thought that Neely was a threat.
