Summary

Ground game key, says Senator Ron Johnson as he weighs in on whether he'd accept the VP nomination as a way to deliver his key swing state. Clay wholeheartedly recommends Johnson for a VP short list, as the senator joined Clay live in WI on the eve of the first GOP primary debate. Major news in Russia as missile shoots down plane carrying the Wagner Group commander who crossed Putin. Do you think Biden can handle this new, more publicly brutal Putin — and would whoever replaces Putin in the Kremlin be worse?
