Dante Fowler Jr., Brock, just moments ago, breaking news from Tom Pelliserra that the Seahawks have found themselves a fourth edge rusher.

It's funny.

When it happened, I will admit, and I'm not saying this to make fun of you, but I did think for a moment about you. Like fun of me? Yeah, I thought about you and Jay keeps. What, Brock Anthony Huard Bourdain? Yes, and the whole Ziggy-on-Sah celebration. When the Seahawks brought in Ziggy-onson, we were like, oh my God, so exciting, Ziggy Ansah. It was pretty silly. It was sad and it didn't work out and all of that.

And at the time, you were sort of counting on Ziggy Ansah to be a significant piece, right?

He was going to come in and kind of change the way the defense functioned.

The best thing about a signing like Dante Fowler is that you don't need that.

You're not banking on him coming in and being a dominant player.

You're allowing him to slide into a rotation where not that much is expected of him.

But if he can take on what Boy A Mafay did last year, but do it as a veteran for only $5 million, it's just giving you more and more and more at a position of great strength. Saul Key is your Rob Reff Snyder. You're not asking too much. Let's hope it works out better than the start for Rev. You're just a right-handed bat. We're going to play to your strengths. You're going to hit only lefties, right? You're an experienced guy. You've been there and done it. Your track record is remarkable. And yeah, I mean, you're going to come in. And I'm kind of joking, obviously, tongue and cheek. And it's not been an ideal star for Rob, but big hit last night to kind of help things get going. And let's hope that there's a lot more of that. And likely there will be more of that. And that is kind of what you're talking about with Fowler. You're not asking him to play a ton of snaps. You're not asking him to stop the run on early downs. You're not asking him to fit in. And if you're Fowler, I bet you're freaking overjoyed. Unbelievable, right? I get to play in this lineup.
