We have a new Seahawk to talk about Dante Fowler Jr. He's someone that we thought Seattle would probably sign. Finally got news this morning from Adam Schaefter. What does he bring the Seahawks? Perfect replacement for Boyamafé. You know, I had more pressures than Boyamafay last season. is going to be able to pick up the slack

and deliver the kind of production

that at least Boya Mafay was able to produce. They needed to add something there. And when the draft didn't work out for Seattle to go and out of pass Russia, then this was always the ideal thing to do. He's got a history with Alan Dirty. They've worked together in Dallas. They've worked together in Atlanta.

And it's another experienced physical player who can come off the edge and give you some pass rush.

So it feels like the ideal fit for the team.

And now they can move forward having filled all of their holes from what they lost in free agency.

Yeah, I've been impressed with their ability to do that, even if they didn't grab a name or two that I was expecting.

I think we spoke to you last week, and there was a writer who gave the Seahawks an F when it came to the draft.

And it's kind of confused about that.

With the addition of Fowler, does your grade stay the same when it comes to this offseason, or do you give them an extra plus or something?

Well, when I saw that F grade, I just remember thinking I could recall my first beer as well.

I mean, I don't know what. I think some people are just allergic to the running back position

and the concept of taking a running back in the first round,

you know, some people will never, never give that a thumbs up. Even if you drafted, you know,

the next Derek Henry, for example, they would say that it was a bad selection. So I think it made

perfect sense for the Seahawks and you have to judge every draft class on its merits. And it's not as if they were passing up, you know, elite players at different positions to go and get the running back. So I didn't quite understand that. It felt a little bit off for me. I think their offseason has been great. It's not been an offseason filled with headlines. They haven't been making big splashy moves, but then so few other teams have as well
