So it's the terrible crash that happened last night.

Black Hawk helicopter, military helicopter, three on board,

crashes into an American airline flight that's coming from Wichita.

It's not a big, big jet. It's a smaller size jet, but it's got 64

people on board. It's a flight from Wichita to Reagan National Airport, which is Washington, D.C.

You got two airports. You got Reagan, which is very close in right in the city. And then you

got Dulles, which is, is you know 45 minutes out that's the

bigger airport but uh last time something like this happened was uh 1982 where there was a crash

14th street bridge right near reagan airport so if you watch the, you see the American Airlines flight coming to

Reagan Airport. It looks like it's just perfect on the flight path. Everything's just right.

Perfect descent. It's heading to the runway. But the helicopter, the military helicopter, is coming

from behind and doesn't seem to see it and is coming up way too fast,

smashes in from behind.

Now, we don't, we'll wait and see if the president has these details.

We don't know why that helicopter was there in that flight path.

Shouldn't have been there.

American Airlines is fully blaming the helicopter for the

crash. It was on some sort of training mission. I call a training sortie and it cut through that

airspace and it shouldn't have been in that airspace. And the air traffic controller at one point

starts warning the helicopter. But as a pilot that called in before said they may not have been on that frequency for that airport may not have heard the warning you're all supposed to have some sort of there's a technology there a detector that can detect a crash if it's coming that may have been shut off.
