It's concerning. I looked at how many A.Bs he's had. He's at 88. I think he leads the team. 88 at bats. Last year had 596. Obviously obviously getting to the playoffs, get a bit more.

I'm going to ask Church, is there a number at-bats to where you know who this team is? as I said last week with the NBA is around 23 to 25 games I'm like I don't know what this team is

NFL's like three to four weeks. You think sometimes seems to get hot, though. But if you're 0-4-3 in the first three weeks of the season, you're probably done. Is there a number of at-bats to where you feel like, okay, I know who this player is? Granted, they can get hot. You're going to have hundreds of at bats during a season.

But is there a number where you say now I'm officially panicking when it comes to this guy? Most people, like when it rolls around to May, when you see a full month to start. And the thing is, it's still early in May. That's what most people say. I want to know what Chet says. Sure. But I will be, I'm a little concerned now, but we'll certainly be concerned around May. A listener texted in from the 509 with Cal at some point, do we need to have the conversation last year was just a fluke. But I think that's why I want to have like the two separate conversations about Cal. One is about just the home run total and slugging percentage to go along with that. And the other is about who Cal is and profiles as a

hitter overall over the course of his career with Seattle. Minus, right, like early, you know,

sent back down, come back up. And that is as a guy who for what two consecutive seasons entering last year, maybe three,

had at least 30 home runs, led all catchers and home runs. And you're not looking at him

to hit for average, but you are looking at him to have some power and some pop. He doesn't

have that power and pop right now. So I'm not talking about, you know, oh, Cal's not on pace for 60 home runs.
