Well, I've a lot to get to this hour.

Got to slow down. I can't keep up with this.

You know, we got spoiled by Joe Biden, who never did anything.

He would show up maybe, maybe once a day for about 20 minutes.

He mostly stayed up in the residence, sleeping or watching Matlock or Cagney and Lacey

or Barnaby Jones or something like that.

And the only time, if you looked at his schedule every day, once in a while there'd be one

thing on the schedule and it'd usually be some ceremonial thing, shake hands with somebody,

take a picture.

Maybe once a week there'd be an actual event of some kind who he was going to speak.

But that was it.

There was nothing to cover. And if you were were the white house correspondent it was the greatest job you know you

sit there in your little office there's a big office with all the press people they all have

their own cubicle and desk and you sit there and you watch tv go online you make phone calls

and then once a day you had to go into the briefing room where they'd have a briefing from

that Corrine John Pierre.

What the hell ever happened to her?

Anyway, that was it.

Otherwise, you sat around, you talked, you had coffee.
