Before we start our new hour, Dee Wood, this is being transferred on to the next generation, this madness, this abomination.

These are the mascots running the tush bush against a bunch of kids yesterday.

Dee Wood, this is a disgrace, man.

We want this play eliminated everywhere, and now we want to put this on our children. Come on. Yes, exactly right. Come on. I think not only do we need to eliminate it from the NFL, we need to eliminate mascots for running the tush push. You eliminate mascots in general or just for the tuss? No, I love, I love mascots. We should not be running the tush push against children or anybody else.

And with that, we begin hour number two coming off an incredible Sunday.

We said yesterday morning on countdown, it was probably the best Sunday schedule of the season,

and it lived up to every ounce of the hike.

Beginning at the end, Lions, Eagles, in Philly, should have been last year's NFC championship game. Injuries derailed it.

Now we got the Lions' first drive of the game.

And Dan, right off the bat, the Eagles defense sets the tone.

Yeah, and you saw something.

This defensive line had five batted balls last night for Philadelphia.

Something where they realized that that was going to be a huge key to the game.

Jordan Davis gets his hands up. Cooper Dejean finds the football on a consistent basis. It was the precursor of the storyline for the night. Eagles kick a field goal that's 3-0. Then Rex, you've been begging for more Jameson Williams. Yeah, here's why the most explosive player in the National Football League right here gets in the end zone again. And well, I'm... well celebration questionable. In fact, it's a 15-yard penalty that forces the extra point back and they missed that. So we're tied at six. So it's important. Next, over a minute to go in the half, Jalen Hurds, A.J. Brown, there he was, Dan, in the scoring area. Yeah, finally on the slant one-on-one, they connect, and then right before the half, we know Philly gets down at that goal line. Here comes that tush push. They found a way to get it in. Mascots, Eagles, doesn't matter. Eagles up 13-6. Third quarter, same score. Lions have the ball second and four. DeWood, Jamir Gibbs, explosive playing. And listen, he's one of the most explosive plays that we have in our game. And Dan Campbell, since he's taking over a play calling duty, he just decided, you know what? It's a pretty good idea to get it to our best. That leads to this, Shafty, fourth in goal, Gough, St. Brown, the Lions were 0 for 5. And that was the theme of the night. The Lions' defense missing starters came through.

The Lions' offense on third and fourth down did not.

O for five on fourth down for the ball game.

Eagles up 16-6.

Fourth of inches looking to put it away, Dan, but this time the tush push is stopped.

This never happens.

This offense with this push, you see that internal kind of dive by that defensive line and then plenty of bodies flying over the top.

Outstanding job by that lion's defense really for the majority of the night.

And then it all comes down to this inside of two minutes. Eagles, third and eight.
