Notre Dame is getting a lot of heat from a lot of people, different precincts.

Is it warranted?

I think it is.

First of all, they didn't really merit being in the playoff because they lost head-to-head

to Miami.

I know that's been discussed.

But what they've done since then is just absolutely embarrassing and unbecoming of a

school like Notre Dame who, until recently set the standard.

For them, number one, to say we're too good to be in a bowl game,

whether that's a shot at ESPN who was broadcasting the bowl game or anyone else.

I don't know, but what they lost out of that were 15 practices for the young players,

which are very important because they need extra practice if they're going to make a contribution.

And on top of that, the threats about the ACC, I have rarely have ever seen a college

institution act as petulant and as disgraceful as I have watching Notre Dame the last 48 hours.
