You can tell it's a slow news day.

You know how you know when it's a really slow news day?

When the lead story is Mike Lawler.

Mike Lawler is not going to run for governor.

I don't know anybody yesterday, I was all over the place yesterday. I talked to a million people. Nobody said, geez, Mike Lawler going to run. But it's not going to run for governor. And it's not this year, by the way. It's next year. Next year is the governor's race. So I don't know. It's a year and a half way. First, we've got to worry about the mayoral race. You have to get rid of Zam Dami, mom, Danny, whatever, or Al Sharpton says, ma'am, dammy. He's away. He's on vacation right now. I don't get this. The kid is like 12 years old. He has no experience in

politics. He's only been a citizen. Very recently became a citizen. You'd think you,

with no experience at all, and you just got the nomination. You think being campaigning your

ass off right now in New York City, he's away. He took a vacation. And Cuomo is always on vacation. He spends half the

week in the Hamptons every week. In the Hamptons, what the hell is he doing there? He's not fundraising.

He's not getting any money right now. The big money has turned their backs on him. Now, remember,

it was Cuomo that gave us the crime wave.

It was Cuomo that caused the crime wave when he put in that no bail, no jail.

Then he closed the prisons and let the prisoners out, and he did speeches bragging about how many prisons he closed.

And then he took away the qualified immunity from cops,

making them have to be very leery about approaching anybody and also making it easy for anybody

to sue them. That's one reason we have so much problem, such a big problem hiring cops right

now because of Cuomo. But the big thing was the no bail, no jail. He pushed it. He campaigned for no bail, no jail. He went around making speeches about how we should just let the criminals run loose. We don't need this bail. Whether you're black or white, that's whether you're rich or poor. We're going to end the cash bail system once and for all. We're going to do it

in New York and we're going to do it this year. You're talking about dangerous, dangerous criminals.

The reason you have bail and you put them in jail is so they're not running around committing

more crimes. We've seen this all the time now when they arrest the guy.
