f s one big story today. Kevin Durant

staying with the Brooklyn Nets. He met with the owner of the Nets, the GM of the Nets, Steve Nash,

Kevin Durant met, and it was pretty cut and dry that I would imagine. Kevin, the good teams are not

going to get their franchises to get you, like Milwaukee, Phoenix, Boston, Miami.

They're not.

So we can send you to a bad market and a bad team and a desperate team, or you can stay with us.

And I think Kevin came to terms with, all right, I mean, we don't love it.

But Milwaukee, Phoenix, Golden State, Boston, Miami, those are really, really good franchises, and well-run franchises are not going to gut their future or their roster for a guy with four years left in a contract that wasn't even happy in Golden State, which is a great coach and a great culture and a great bunch of guys.

So that's the lead story today. Jason McIntyre joining us as always Josh Allen of the Bills next hour.

So that's our big story today. And your reaction is probably my reaction. Simmons, Kyrie, and KD, it is what it is. Say it out loud.

Did you see their odds in early July when KD demanded out 50 to 1 to win the title?

They went down to 11 to 1 right now to win the championship.

They're going to need a lot of health from these guys. Yeah, I don't think so. All right. So I make my

NFL predictions, my standing predictions. Then I allow myself two amendments. One on the show, on the day the season starts. That's a Thursday, a couple Thursdays away. And then I'm going to do one today. So here's my predictions in the AFC. Let's start with the AFC. I'm only going to make one change in the AFC. So in the east, I think it's pretty easy. Bills are the best team. J jets are the worst. I'll take dolphins over the Patriots based on their offensive weaponry.
