Hotline. Hey, Daniel, how's it going? I'm good, although it's been a little bit cold up here,

especially in the press box this opening week. Kind of wild given that the temperatures were

essentially cut in half from the 105 we were dealing with down in Arizona. But it's good to get the season

rolling and excited, even if it's a tad bit chillier than expected. You know what? I will say,

in your defense, even though it was much hotter in Peoria, it feels like today was especially

chilly for Seattle, considering we did get some sun for opening day. I'm going to start by some answers

that you already gave, but they were really interesting. You did an AMA on Mariners Reddit last week

leading up to opening day, so on opening day. And you were asked about whether there's been a contract

extension or, excuse me, any talk of a contract extension for

Logan Gilbert. I wanted to start there because we had also been wondering. So what have you

been hearing about that? Yeah. So going into spring, I was just generally curious about the state

of those discussions, if there had been negotiations going on. My assumption was that

leading into camp, that's typically a time where those types of conversations can accelerate a

little bit more. Obviously, the player is under your roof for seven straight weeks

and more at ease as well without the pressure of the regular season. And we've seen in years

past, like that's when they've been able to get things done was in the spring training period.

And then typically announced leading up to opening day.
