Nick will be back with us on Monday where I'm assuming we're going to have some more developments out of the National Football League over the course of the weekend. You know, the NFL never sleeps. It's now August. We got like more preseason games coming up starting on Thursday. Looking forward to that. I think three games on Thursday. So the way the preseason schedule starts, we get three on Thursday, looking forward to that. I think three games on Thursday.

So the way the preseason schedule starts, we get three on Thursday,

three on Friday, and it looks like we have eight on Saturday.

So next Saturday, eight games, and then two on Sunday.

So they're sprinkling the preseason.

I love it.

We're sprinkling the preseason all throughout the weekend, starting on Thursday, to get us back into the cadence of watching the National Football League and doing nothing else on the weekends. Yeah, I'm looking forward to that next weekend to watch some of these games and to see how things are going to play out. I know Carolina, we'll get into that a little bit later on. I think maybe in the next hour, we'll talk about this.

But the Panthers said they're going to start their, they're going to play their starters.

Price Young, the other starters, they're going to be out there for the first two preseason games. Yeah. Let's get these guys out there. I mean, I'll tell you this before we get to the Hall of Fame game real quick. and then we'll talk some MLB trade deadline in this segment.

The team that has won like the most games or like the last like five years,

a team that's always in the Super games or like the last like five years,

a team that's always in the Super Bowl, the Can City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes plays

in the preseason every year.

Like if he can do it, I think everyone else can do it.

You know what I mean?

Like the people in the operation that has the most success says, you know what's good is getting our guys ready for the regular season. I rest my case. Yeah, I agree. Speaking of the preseason though, Jared, quick takes on the Hall of Fame game. I don't want to spend too much time on this because once again, it's the Hall of Fame game. But like, you know, there were some things to take away. I thought, I thought Trey Lance was really good in the game. Honestly, that might have been the best Trey Lance has looked in an NFL uniform. And I get it. It's the Hall of Fame game. People are rolling their eyes, oh, because he's playing like garbage truck drivers and insurance. Okay, whatever. Like, he's looked worse in preseason games as well. You know what? So, like, I want to

give him a little bit of credit for how he looked yesterday, 13 to 20, 120 yards, two touchdowns.

He looked poised. We saw the touch passing, which had not been a thing in his repertoire

in his NFL career. It's usually throwing like 99 mile per hour fastballs at all the time.

But he showed some touch, showed some accuracy, his athleticism. I thought stock up for Trey Lance just one game into the preseason. And it has me excited to see what the rest of the preseason looks like for the bolts this year. Yeah, I think, you know, Harbaugh obviously wanted that game and he wanted to let, because we thought we were going to see a lot of DJU in the second half. You know, based off of some of the murmurs I was hearing from some of my sharper friends. I mean, Harba said it. Yeah. He said Lance won drive in the third quarter. And that was it. It turned out to be a lot more than that. And that was the reason that we were getting a lot of lion's second half love.
