Great to have you on and as you put in that piece a brutal year and what is we'll talk about not only the year

that wasn't but what is ahead in the new year good afternoon

good afternoon Paul thanks for having me back on, it was a disastrous year for the NCAA in court and more generally just with the law

where a number of legal controversies that could lead in some form or another to college athletes being

paid, including as employees, but also even if not as employees, being able to get a significant cut of TV money not only going

forward but going backwards. The NCAA is just being hit at in multiple

directions and Charlie Baker clearly is trying to hastily put together reforms, but I think as he's

encountering the NCAA is a membership organization, as he knows it's slow moving, it may not move fast enough to catch up with the

legal efforts that could really radically change college sports and I think when we think about it

NIL was considered a big change and it was a big change but now we're talking

about players being employees getting a cut of TV money, maybe forming unions, collective bargaining.

It's a really different world than we currently have.
