So exactly what effect is the coaching carousel had on so many of the bigger

issues in college athletics. This is from Mark Nagel on Matt Brown's website. And we want to kind

of get into this a little bit. Matt Brown, of course, from Extra Points, one of the go-to websites in America.

Matt, many thanks for joining us. So let's dig into this. It was a wild coaching carousel.

We've all used a cliche. We've never seen anything like it. So what does it all mean moving

forward? Good afternoon. Yeah, first of all, thanks for having me here. It was a pleasure to be

able to share Dr. Nagel's perspective. He's a professor here in this footprint at the University of South Carolina. And you've begun to hear more folks, not just professors or folks that study sports management, but you're beginning to hear and read about this more from football

coaches and from athletic directors and from other administrators and people throughout this industry

who look at a lot of the chaos that we've seen in November and this month and through National

Signing Day and as this carousel completes, wanting some sense of order, not just with what's going to happen

with who can enter the portal and win and are my contracts that I signed that had a buyout

provision or those legally enforceable, but also how can you prevent what we have with Lane

Kiffin earlier this year with a coach getting up and leaving in the middle of a championship run. These are things that we don't have in professional sports
