Oh, man, what a tremendous road trip for the Mariners.

What a great trip.

They come back.

Five and one exactly what this team needed to kind of shake itself out of the early April doldrums.

What were we saying yesterday with Adam Jude asking if they were out of the woods, right, like the Taylor Swift song or maybe the

rival Sun song, whatever you like, they do feel a little more out of the woods. Is it

permanent? No, of course. Like, I'm not going to sit here and be like, are they good now? Yes,

of course. Now everything is great. The to sit here and be like, are they good now? Yes, of course.

Now everything is great.

The reality is they could have their ups and downs and, you know, they could lose a game against the Royals and who knows what happens against a very good Braves team that comes in here after that.

But I think what we saw over the course of the last week is what things look like when the offense actually

gets a reasonable performance from its best players. And ultimately, I guess I'm going to try

to make a point that if you want to win big, you know, go to the playoffs, win your division,

win the World Series, all the things that this team is trying to accomplish this season.

If you want to win big, I think you need two things to occur.

And I think we've talked about these things before.

But if you want to accomplish all that is potentially in front of this team, the two things that you probably need. More, what are you doing? Hold on. I got to interrupt myself. Oh, it was your headphones. Okay. Moro was drinking water, which was fine, but she was like holding her other arm up in sort of a funny way. But I realized she was just holding her headphones on. I was taking a sip of my protein shake. I know, but it was your left hand that was up here. Because I leave one headphone off of an ear so I can hear people in the studio if I need to. So when I just tell my head back, I have to hold my headphones on to my head. I thought you were doing like a posing thing where you were like, da-da, I'm drinking. All right. Two things you need if you want to win big. One, your best, most established players need to perform.
