I'm doing great. How are you doing, Bob?

I'm doing good. I'm watching a little WBC. I'm keeping track with the Mariners are doing.

How are you balancing your time with all this baseball going on?

I don't balance it. It's just all baseball all the time. I'm completely immersed from the moment I wake up to the time I go to bed here. It's, I mean, that's the thing about spring training for me. It's a lot of getting ready for the season. So it's constant. Just conversations with players and coaches and for the players that haven't been in camp before, just kind of getting to know them a little bit and getting to know what they're about and kind of their stories. And then we broadcast a game and

the WBC is going on at the same time is it's wild, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's super

fun. Well, Gary, with so many of the Mariners off to the WBC and still doing group play and all

that, it leaves a lot of opportunity for the guys remaining in

camp. Who has kind of stuck out to you in the days since everybody departed Peoria and went their

separate ways? Yeah, that part has been a little weird, just like walking around in the mornings,

and where did everyone go? Because there are a lot of guys. I think the Dodgers and Mariners have the most players that are in the WBC. And it's a lot when you take nearly 20 guys out of camp. And a lot of the starting lineup, as we've all seen, out of camp. But you're right. It has opened up playing time for a lot of different players. And part of that we've seen young guys a lot.

Like Cole Emerson has played a ton, which has been super fun.

The guy who I think about a lot is Brennan Davis, who has, I think, opened some eyes here in Mariners camp.

He's somebody that has been a top prospect in the game.

He's just suffered a ton of injuries over time

and he looks pretty interesting and really open some eyes yesterday with the long home run off of

the miss who's got wicked stuff he threw a 98 mile per hour fastball and he took it out at think

116 so it was a super impressive home run. And do I think

that with health, do I think he'll make the club out of camp? Probably not. But it's the kind of

performance that, hey, you go to Tacoma. And as we know, the Mariners are going to need players during the course of the season,
