You start with Mateer, and that is one of the biggest stories in college football.

Not only John Mateer coming over from Washington State, but following his OC at a place that is in desperate need of offense and wins.

Yeah, Paul, thanks for having me on.

Yeah, this article was more of a refresher for everybody who maybe wasn't paying attention to all the things that happened in the off season.

I know your listeners certainly do, but, you know, there's a lot of folks that tune out once

the season ends, and they probably missed some of the moves that happened to college football.

Mateer was definitely one of the big ones. I think that Oklahoma office last year really struggled, and you look at what he did at Washington State.

I know it's on the other side of the country. I know it's a different league, but really dynamic playmaker at quarterback, top 10 and passing efficiency,

and definitely a weapon that Oklahoma needed, and as well as his offensive coordinator,

Arbuckle, who came over, and not a lot of coaching changes in the SEC overall.

Not a lot of coordinator changes either, but this is a big one for Oklahoma, and I think it's

meaningful.
