Some other things going on. Jack Curry, the Yes Network reporting that the Yankees have signed the veteran pitcher Carlos Carrasco,

who's going to be 38 in March to a minor league deal with Cleveland last year, the man they call

cookie, 3 and 10, 5.64 ERA through 103 and 2 3rd innings for the Guardians last year in

24. So a minor league deal worth $1.5 million that could go up to $2.5,

or add another $2.5 in bonuses if he, in fact, makes a team.

So that looks like it could be some insurance as a sick start if the Yankees do succeed

in trading Marcus Stroman.

But we'll see if that happens.
