As you know yesterday we told you about the situation unfolding in New York City with Jordan

Neely's death. And this has gotten national attention and headlines and the political lines on

this have been drawn right away. People like AOC and Iana Presley from both members of Congress

have called it a lynching, have said that this was a murder, have have immediately taken the

position that Jordan Neely was an innocent victim here essentially. One difference between this

people are saying this is an effort to make it a George Floyd moment. One difference is obviously

this did not did not involve a police officer. Now some are pointing to the fact that there's no police

officer as part of why someone maybe just had felt threatened enough that they had to take action

themselves. But there is no law enforcement involvement. So it is a it is a different circumstance

in that respect. But that doesn't mean they're not going to try just as they did with the

Trayvon Martin situation. If you recall Trayvon Martin was shot by George Zimmerman. George Zimmerman

was not a law enforcement officer, not a former member of the military, just a guy in the neighborhood

who was carrying a concealed weapon. They tried to make that into a and they did make an massive

national story. So this could be a George Floyd moment even though there's no law enforcement

involvement, we shall see how this plays out. A big question that still is in the background of

all this is whether there will be charges. As we speak to you right now, I don't believe that

anyone really knows. I don't think a decision has even been made internally by the district

attorney in New York about whether there will be criminal charges brought against the man who

has been named. I should add, there has been now that the Marine has been identified as Daniel

Penny, 24 years old. So Daniel Penny could face involuntary manslaughter charges or something
