Back for the second hour, and I know I get a little bit starry-eyed and

teary-eyed when I talk about our next guest but he is that special to all of us here

the hour we spent with him in studio about a year and a half ago remains truly one of the

most memorable times of my existence which is a long time the new book is out

Kenny Chesney heart life. You keep wondering what else Kenny Chesney will do. He did this fear earlier in the summer. He'll be back again there and he joins us now. And Kenny, it's such a pleasure to see you again. How are you? I'm doing great, man. Thanks for having me. I really appreciate it.

We are, we, we, we, there's so many things to talk about, but let me start with this book,

because I know how special it is when we hung out with you a year and a half ago, you were, you

were just putting it together. And for, for somebody who's literally done everything in your career,

take us through the steps that made this book, which is now out, such an important part of your life.

Well, it was a lot different than writing songs.

You know, songs are, you write songs, you know, it are really like a, like you're looking through a straw in a way.

But writing this book was like a fish eye lens.

I wrote the book with Holly Gleason, who's been in my life for a long time, who was an award-winning

journalist, and she's been writing about music for a while. And we sat down about a year ago

and started talking about my journey. I didn't know for sure if I had an

interesting enough of a story because basically I've been on the road for 30-something years.

But, you know, when we sat down, I was kind of stunned at the scope of it all. And I felt

like it was important now to write this book because I have been so driven

and moving so fast for so many years that it felt it felt time and there was so many people
