Feels like, as Connor Hughes has put out there, and Boomer hasn't done much to dispel it,

that Frank Reich and the Aaron Glenn Jets seem to be working towards a potential

deal that makes him a high-ranking offensive guy at the very least, maybe even assistant

head coach, someone that would call the plays.

So we'll keep an eye on that.

So if you're Frank Reich and you're talking to the Jets, you're talking to other teams potentially,

the first thing that's going to come up, much like John Harbaugh, when he was looking at the teams that he might want to coach is,

what is the future of the quarterback

position. The New York Jets don't have much of a future at the quarterback position. I don't

believe it's going to be Justin Fields again after the benching. I don't believe you can go into the

season with Tyrod Taylor again. Brady Cook gave it his all, but throwing Brady Cook back out there for any amount of time is not going to result in victory.

So where are they getting this guy from?

One name that has been out there a lot in potential trade rumors is Kyler Murray.

I don't know if Kyler Murray and the Jets are a fit, and I have not seen him connected to the Jets. I'm not sure if he's got a no trade clause or not, but if there's multiple teams out there and he does have a no trade clause, going to the Jets probably isn't at the top of his list. You know, I think when you have to, obviously, whether there's smoke, there's fire, where there's a new coach, those coaches are going to want to make changes at the quarterback position, much like Rob Salah did when he came here and Zach Wilson was here. I mean, Sam Darnold was here. They ended up with Zach Wilson. You know, Aaron Glenn came in here. They got rid of Aaron Rogers. You know, that's just the way it works. new coaches, new, new quarterbacks. That's like a big thing around the NFL,

unless, of course, you're inheriting something. of Aaron Rogers. You know, that's just the way it works. New coaches, new new quarterbacks.
