Hey there, everybody. Welcome to the show. Great to be back with all of you. I hope you guys know me by now.

But again, quick refresher. Co-host, always in fashion on WOR. I'm on News Nation on law and crime. I do say, though, doing this show is probably one of my favorite things. I love the opportunity to talk to all of you. and we have a lot to get into Israel Hamas, Donald Trump, George Santos.

But first, did all of you watch the debate last night between DeSantis and Newsom?

I love this.

It was moderated by Sean Hannity on Fox News.

I thought he did a great job.

They should really consider him for future debates.

And I'm watching this.

I'm watching this.

And I'm like, could you imagine if these were the

real candidates for president effective, talking about the issues, smart stats, facts, I learned

some things I didn't know. I thought it was incredibly refreshing. Then I'm hit with the reality,

of course, that really none of this matters. I will tell you in that vein, Newsom said something I actually

agreed with. This is cut number four. There's one thing in closing that we have in common is neither

of us will be the nominee for our party in 2024. I mean, he's right. He's right. It's probably

the reality. But the truth is, is when you look at this debate, there's no audience there hollering, interrupting, distracting. It was just a smart debate for both of them. And I think that this should be something that they consider in the future and how to have actual presidential debates. Now, DeSantis, in my opinion, had the best night. I mean, he completely won.

I thought this was one of his best performances we've ever seen. Maybe it's him going against a real

opponent from the other side and not going after fellow Republicans, but he was great. He didn't have

that weird tongue smile thing. Well, let me rephrase that. Maybe he didn't have it as much it's still a work

in progress he's got to fix it he's got to fix it i say that i kid but i say that as somebody who

was supporting desantis at one point i was interested to see what he could offer but it doesn't seem

like he was ready for the national stage or maybe he'll never be ready i thought it was uh very very
