This is the Dunluba Tarshou with the Stugots Podcast.

Stugots, there are many fair criticisms that have been directed my way over the last

few years as we've tried to find our footing around here at MetalArt Media on the doing

of the show.

And one of the fairest criticisms is that I over-explain things that don't require over-explanation.

My philosophy there has always been that you, and it might be an outdated philosophy,

that you always have more people listening to something and hearing it for the first

time than you do hearing it for the 10th or 11th or 12th time.

So I don't want people to feel excluded around here, even though at the beginning, many

people who don't get the show at the beginning need some of those explanations so they stop

feeling like outsiders and can feel like insiders.

And I don't know as I see this brand and Miller Pat Down story at Alabama, how many of our

listeners are familiar with the details of what happened with Gilbert Arinas.

Gilbert Arinas fairly famously pulled the gun in the locker room and he wasn't the only

one in the Wizards doing that.

Javaris Cretanton was also somebody who was now in jail for pulling a gun.

The gun that Gilbert Arinas pulled was a gold gun and the details of this were interesting

enough.

It was a fairly shocking controversy, but it was 13 years ago.

And one of the details that I think gets forgotten because it was so long ago is that

Gilbert got in one kind of trouble for actually having the gun in the locker room.
