The Red Sox off to a three and eight star. Yankees at the top of the east, the Red Sox at the bottom of the East and great things are expected of the Red Sox. And on April 8th, they're five and a half games behind the Yankees.

And I think it's too early to say it's getting late early, but, you know, games behind have

to be made up at some point so the Red Sox can't feel great about things.

So what's going on?

I mean, is this a surprise to Red Sox fans, or were you kind of dreading this and seeing that this could happen?

I think it depends on who you ask.

I mean, I have the Red Sox winning 90 games this year.

Across the board on the show, I think a lot of people were right in that region.

It was from like 87-ish to low 90s.

My take on it during the offseason was fully expected this to be a completely different team than it was last year. I thought they were

going to get to roughly the same win total as last year's team, but take a completely different path.

And that path was, you know know i wasn't buying into them
