You know, when I was up in Alaska with those hockey boys, had a great time. A couple of the cracking guys. One of their brothers, one of them's already an orthopedic mess. He's in his late 30s. He's a neck fusion. He's stiff as a rod. And we would go from the hot tub to the freezing cold, Alaskan Lake and back and forth. And I said to the guy, man, you know, your neck pretty stiff. He's like, ah, it's just pain. You know what pain is?

Pain just makes you feel alive. Right. And I'm like, yeah, you know what? That's right. These Mariners, they're just making me feel alive. They're just making you feel alive right now. Well, I'm glad you feel that way. You may be alone in that regard. I have a feeling our text machine might disagree. I was going with some, no, I was really still yesterday thinking and spiraling about that runners and scoring position number, dead last in the league in batting average with runners and scoring position. And honestly, Brock, when I, when I spent more time researching it, it got worse because with nobody on their 11th. They hit just fine with nobody on base. You put a runner on first. Is that batting average? Batting average. Yeah. And generally, I'm not a big batting average guy. But with runners in scoring position, it matters. And when it was like, you know, your hallmark of your philosophy of how things were going to change and, right, then it matters even more. well 11th with nobody on 19th with a runner on first and then it drops to 30th the moment there's runners in scoring position and i

But when this is the stated philosophy, like you've got to be better than dead last with runners

and scoring position. Yeah. And when the brights get light, you got to show up. And when the moment

gets big, you got to deliver. Yep. And Homeboy, you know, who swept the Mariners right out of Tampa

Bay and laughed all the way along Camerro. What was he? He was 12 of 16 for the series or something ridiculous. Eight of 12 in the series. Big hit after big hit delivering after delivering.
