Two best tight ends in the NFL cashed in yesterday.

Niners George Kittle, the chiefs Travis Kelsey, signing hefty contract extensions and getting

paid significantly more than other players at their position.

And they're both unstoppable.

They're worth the money.

They're too fast for linebackers to cover, too big for defensive backs.

Kittle and Kelsey followed the tradition of other all-time elite tight ends.

The likes of Rob Grimkowski, Tony Gonzalez, Kellen Winslow, just to name a few.

And it's good to see players at that position.

And a position that's not traditionally rewarded, get rewarded.

And usually tight ends are on the low end of the spectrum like running backs and safeties.

But not the case here.

The receivers and pass rushers make a lot more.

The Niners and Chiefs loaded with talent.

And Kittle and Kelsey present unique challenges for defenses.

And they both put their teams in great position to be back at this year's Super Bowl.

I was wondering about the age of Kelsey, though, getting this contract because Kittle is

younger.

But Kelsey will be 36 when this contract expires.
