A lot of conversation about what Rachel Bachman wrote the other day in the Wall Street Journal,

Matt Brown, out today with some

analysis of that in his column. Should you care about a Big Ten SEC TV ratings war? This is a week

after the Big Ten won its third straight national championship and one week after the SEC

missed the national championship for the third straight year.

Matt, I read your piece early this morning and it's really fascinating when you start throwing all this

thing together. But I want you from a little bit of a distance and maybe where we sit right here

to put all of this into perspective. Sure. To me, when I look at Rachel's reporting

and when I look at what many of the research executives at Fox or ESPN or some of these other

disparate consultant companies trying to break down what was happening here, I think there's two

separate related but distinct questions.
