Summary

We are witnessing the season of Cal Raleigh, he is breaking record after record and showing up in big moments on the national stage. His most recent accolade was winning the MLB Homerun Derby last night, becoming the 1st catcher to ever win it. // Need to Know: Cal Raleigh almost did not make it out of the 1st round of the HR Derby, he beat out Brent Rooker by less than an inch to advance to the semi-finals and goes on to win it all. He is the 1st catcher ever to win the Derby. The Mariners went through day 2 of the MLB Draft highlighted by Pitcher Mason Peters and outfielder Korbyn Dickerson. Ernest Jones received some votes for being one of the top off ball linebackers in the NFL but did not make the top 10 list // Hall of Fame Pitcher Jim Abbott joins the show to talk about his new E60 documentary “Southpaw” which breaks down the career of Jim Abbot and the struggles that came with his journey to MLB and throwing a no-hitter. How did he manage to find success on the mound while missing one of his hands?
