Chiefs have just signed their kicker Harrison Butker to a four-year 25.6 million dollar contract.

The money in football $1.6 million contract.

The money in football is so outrageous now.

And those guys deserve it.

And but there certainly is a difference maker.

So if you're going to pay a kicker, you're gonna pay him.

He's clutch.

He's able to kick field goals where not many people can.

But at some point, the money is going to rise up and bite them,

especially the more guaranteed money that you pay.

So if you keep giving out guaranteed dollars,

somebody's going to get hurt, and that's... So if you keep giving out guaranteed dollars,

somebody's gonna get hurt,

and that's money you can't spend,

and you can't replace.

In the past, when this first started

with the cap and the NFL, no one got guaranteed money.

Now everybody's getting huge guaranteed dollars to the point that if those guaranteed

dollars get hurt, you're in trouble.
