One of the things that I just really want people to understand and talking about the Mets is

just mentioned it before the break is that there is not two separate

silos of the casino and the Mets.

And if it's, we need to start thinking just a little bit more, just to the next like level

of things, like put yourself at Steve Cohen's shoes.

He's not like, you know, I'm not going to pay attention to Mets because I'm focused on

Metropolitan Park.

It is all in one.

And when one does better, the other does better.

And I know he wants to win.

I do believe he wants to win.

He's made major investments in winning. But when you think about

what is the most important thing to him, it's being a successful businessman. And you could still

do that without winning a World Series. You could still do that. I mean, the Yankees are doing

that right now. They have a one in a long time. They don't, you know, they made it to the World Series a couple years ago. They've had a lot of early exits in the playoffs, or they're still making a ton of money without spending as much as they used to. They used to be the number one payroll all the time. They're not doing that now. And they're a successful business. I mean, the Dallas Cowboys haven't won a Super Bowl,

and I don't know how long they're a successful business. How about the Pittsburgh Steelers? Yeah, same thing. Yeah. So, like, they're a, you know, and Jerry Jones would love to win. I'm sure he would. But he's not failing. He's not. I know that's frustrating to fans to believe that, like, because they,

they just think their owner is walking the planet to make them happy. Well, I mean, when you look

at Jerry Jones, what happened at the beginning of the season, so they trade away Micah. And then

everybody is completely all over him. That it's the worst trade ever and then he ends up acquiring

two defensive tackles quinnon williams and kennie clark and it looked there for a while that
