Now, chances are if you listen to the Ben Mather Show podcast that you were a person working the day shift.

Maybe you're one of the people that used to listen live at night and you took the money like Chris in Houston or can't close the deal, Neil, or some of the other legends that went to the day shift and we lost them as active members of the show during the live edition.

So when you have a sporting event that goes late, people that work the day shift love to complain.

For us, it's a great mitzvah.

For example, we were on the air moments after the World Series end.

We actually in a commercial break at the time Freddie Freeman was the hero,

hit the game winning home run leading off the 18th inning,

game 3 of the World Series.

That's right, 18 innings.

What stood out from the 18 inninginning thriller at the ravine goes to the Dodgers.

Also, what is the word for trying to watch the Blue Jays and Dodgers flail away in extra

innings during the World Series?

The Dodgers bullpen, which has been the definition of suck, was outstanding,

thanks in large part to some help by the Toronto Blue Jays. Also, with the Blue Jays pitching staff,

pitching around, pitching around, Shohay Otani, four intentional walks, five walks in the game,

does Major League Baseball need to revisit and change the intentional walk rule?
