Great writer. Really puts it out there. Makes you think with the stuff that he really has a column out today about Lori Marketing, which is really, really interesting how Marketing not passing but scoring over 30 points for game. And he's an unselfish player. We'll get into that in a moment. But we welcome Fred to the show. Fred, how you doing?

I'm doing great. Thank you for having me. I appreciate you saying that.

Of course. I wanted to start off with the words of Steve Kerr, who intimated that the soft

tissue injuries are a result of, you know, the quick and pace in the NBA, and they can't

really survive in 82

game season, they should cut back on the season.

And, you know, my initial reaction is, you've got to be kidding me.

Most of these guys don't play 82 games anyway, and there's no way the owners would give

up the gates and no way the players would give up the money.

Is there any traction to lessen the inventory, Fred?

No, I don't think so.

I mean, I'll tell you this.

Every year at the Athletic, we do a anonymous player poll,

and we get, you know, triple-digit players and stuff on, like,

who's your MVP and all that kind of stuff.
