So, Cam Newton has been working his way into sports media, and he did his own podcast, set some stuff on there that got a lot of headlines.

And then, you know, he said something about the Patriots and Drake May and whatever else.

And that got some attention and they brought it to Drake May.

Did you hear that, you know, Cam Newton said this?

And he goes, I didn't even know he had a show.

I didn't know what show he was on.

So apparently, Cam Newton is now on first take with Stephen A. Smith.

I did not know that.

I'm being honest. I thought the clips

that Jerry played a Cam Newton were always

from his podcast. Well, we never

see it. Yeah, I don't see it. I'm not

trying to be like, I don't know, I didn't see him,

I never heard him, I never put it on, I never,

We just didn't know where Jerry was getting them from. But I don't think he ever played first take clips of Cam Newton. I think you always play... Every time again, I go out there and I see what kind of hat he's wearing. Yeah, but I did not know he was doing stuff for ESPN. I guess now in reading about it, maybe they brought him in after the Shannon Sharp stuff went down. They needed a replacement there, so they brought in Cam Newton. But the way that

these first take people reacted to Drake May saying that he didn't know he was on a morning show.

Like, how do you not know that? This is the number one show. This is first take. You're lying about it.

Let me tell you something. Drake May is so focused in on just playing football. And this is why

he went where he went and why the Patriots were not going to trade out of that pick.

Because when you sit down and you talk to this kid and you realize just how focused he is, that's the kind of kid that every team in the NFL wants. Yeah. So why are they now? He's probably not even on social media. He may be on social media, but I guarantee you he doesn't interact with anybody. So why are these guys on first take now like waging war against Drake May? It doesn't make any sense. It's ridiculous. Guys having a great season. Like I just told you, he's like either he or Matthew Stafford or the odds on favorite to win the NFL MVP. And if they don't see that, then, you know, then they're missing something. Yeah. But I mean, the whole idea that, you know, Drake May needs to know what's going on on first take. Like, I don't
