Right now they put the garbage bags, the trash on the sidewalk in a big pile,

and instead they'll throw it in this big dumpster.

And then the garbage truck, instead of having to reach in or take every bag one at a time

and throw them in the truck, hooks on to the container, turns it over into the truck,

and dumps all the garbage at once.

Now, to do that, the container has to be on the street.

You can't have it on the sidewalk because the truck would have to go over a parked car.

So to do that, you have to take away parking spaces.

And how many are they talking about taking away?

So that's like 15,000.
