So the missing girl in the Dominican, pretty big updates, you know, they seldom found

her body, but her parents are now asking that the authorities declare her dead.

And this Josh Reby guy, who is the person of interest, and has sounds like he's been stuck down there. The authorities down there would never officially say whether or not he was allowed to leave, but his family said that they took his passport and stuff away. So it sounded like he was stuck down there. His family was concerned about this whole thing, and we don't have to go over his story again. We've been over it.

But I thought this was interesting that her family has now said, look, we think she drowned, and we do not think that he's responsible.

Okay.

So, you know, for that to come from her family, that's got to be one step in the right direction.

But his family's also been protesting to try and get some sort of legal protection for him.

Because like I said earlier, they are concerned about him not having a lawyer all the time, not having a translator all the time,

just not knowing exactly what his rights are.

And so they have petitioned for this right of habeas corpus.

And that should, they said, mean that the authorities, whether it's the FBI, but mostly the Dominican authorities, should have to hand over some information that says, here's why. If we want to hold on to him, here's the information that we have that is leading us to not want to let him go. And that would mean that the media would get an idea of what they know.
