The Rams discussed trading for AJ Brown, but they have since moved on.

While teams have been internally discussing potential trade packages for AJ Brown,

no team has made an official offer to the Eagles per multiple sources.

That is so weird.

So what do you talk to Howie Roseman about that?

Like don't you just make an offer? Yeah, I would. Because why not? He's at his prime still. He's an elite wide receiver. He's disgruntled because the Eagles are intermittently a run-only team. And so he feels like he's not getting the best use out of him. And also, they have other good players on that squad on the offensive team. So he wants to be a marquee player in this league and he's never going to be that on the Philadelphia Eagles. And I think he realized that middle of last season and it started to get a little bit dice. He probably realized that a couple years ago, but they were on the path towards a championship,

so let me just shut up and win.

Right.

But now he's, look, he's getting older.

And it's like at some point you want to be the man.

The trade the other day that Buffalo made was a second for a fifth in which they got

DJ Moore.

Yeah.

DJ Moore is not A.J. Brown. Right. It's not even close. I agree. And yet they gave up a two-five swap. So if the Eagles are having a really steep asking price, my assumption is it's a first-round pick. Yeah. But you're not getting a first-round pick for him? I don't think so. but the New England Patriots, you have to imagine, ultimately get A.J. Brown, ultimately.

And it's really just a stare-off. It's a stare-down on who gives in.

What is a steep asking price? How far will New England go?

Is there another team that would jump in?

Diana Rucini mentions the Chargers.

So inevitably, from one rival to another in terms of a giant rival to a jet rival,

my expectation is that they're going to trade A.J. Brown to the Patriots.
