put your thinking caps on. Dan Murphy joins us so he's been covering this story Dan thank you for the time so let's assume we have a settlement here at some point in the near future what happens in the distribution and what does it really mean for everyone else?

Yeah, so you know I think within the next week or so about a week from today we'll have a pretty clear idea

of whether or not the schools are going to

agree to the current terms of this settlement.

And as in all things with this story, that just means that there's several more steps

in weeks or months to go, but at some point a judge would have to approve the terms of the settlement.

And then, you know, honestly, the upshot is that we are headed toward at least the first iteration of a system where schools are giving money directly to their athletes and right now it's looking like each school will be able to spend up to 20 or 21 million dollars and direct payments to their athletes.
