Joe Bartlett, how much of that did you watch yesterday?

I watched the very beginning, and actually some of the testimony of the 911 operator.

But that, I got to tell you, that tape in its entirety is kind of troubling.

Yeah, there's a lot of charges.

I don't know if it gets convicted in all of them, but you can't let this.

The argument in his defense is that what he was doing is actually okay in the regulations of the Minneapolis Police Department,

which makes no sense, but it actually is.

Well, the prosecutor said you are allowed to put a suspect face down on the ground,

but only until he's subdued and then you have to turn him on his side so that he can breathe.

Yeah, so that's the problem.

The other thing is he's in custody.

When you take somebody into custody legally, you take them into your care. You can't have them die while they're in in custody. When you take somebody into custody, legally, you take them into your care.

You can't have them die while they're in your custody, and you're not responsible.

You're totally responsible for keeping them alive while they're in your custody.

And he was handcuffed, wasn't he, on the ground?

He poses no real threat at that point to sit there and hold your knee on this guy.

It makes absolutely no sense.

There's no question this guy will get convicted and go to prison.
