And these days, I host a daily show on a New Jersey-based news channel. It's called On New Jersey. and if you want to take a look at it, we're on like 20 different social media platforms, rumble, tumble, bumble, you name it. We're on, I don't think Bumble, but we're on every social media platform. Or just go to the website, on nj.com. On New Jersey, onnnj.com. I also run a food website for all you foodies. It's called The Food Dude with links to thousands of recipes from around the world absolutely free. You could find it at thefooddood.us. So it's the fooddood.us. So it's good to be here with you. My mother-in-law was a teacher in a very poor school in South Florida for years. She used to go around raising money and she would give out of our own pocket. They were kids who came in. They didn't have food. They didn't have anything for school. And she would buy all their school stuff for them. And I know she's not alone. A lot of teachers do that. So if you could help out, make some kids at least feel like part of the crowd,

2:18.2

like they're like everyone else and they should so that they don't feel inferior because

2:21.8

their families can't afford back to school supplies. It's not the kids' fault. So it'd be nice

2:27.0

we can help them out. Well, how did you fare with all that horrible weather? The amount of rain

2:31.8

that fell from yesterday afternoon through early this morning,

2:35.2

just unbelievable. I was with my folks up in Westchester yesterday and we were hanging out and

2:39.5

they were up in New Rochelle. And I saw the weather start to change. And I said, look, love you,

2:45.1

mean it, got to go. Got in the highway. By the time I got within 10 minutes at my home in New Jersey,

2:49.5

the rain started the fall. And like two hours later, later my phone i'm sure like yours too started blowing up with warnings and videos from

2:56.5

social media i went over to x and there were like 200 videos from the tri-state of flooded out roadways

3:03.1

flooded out subways and then of course you flip on the tv you the TV, you go to IHeart Radio, any of the

3:08.0

radio stations we were streaming. It's just unreal to see that much. But I must say to the governor

3:13.8

of New York and the lieutenant governor, Tisha Way, who was in charge yesterday in New Jersey,

3:18.6

because Governor Murphy was, you know, it was pre, it was known in advance that he was going

3:22.7

to be out of the state. They both declared states of emergency early enough so that everyone was prepared.

3:28.2

And, you know, I don't usually applaud them publicly because I have a lot of differences in my politics with them.
