This is D.P.H.O. and Rothenberg. This whole idea that Joe Shane is just safe, safe, you have nothing to worry about, is apparently not true. Anyone who thinks Shane has put together enough talent, but he should keep his job as kidding himself. If you're not convinced that Joe Shane is coming back and you don't think he did a very good job, wouldn't you want someone else to come in from the outside and kind of take a look at all of it? And the consistent theme around the giant guys is their inconsistent thing.

He is part of the thing.

Not that he won't be back, but it's not a slam dunk that he will be back.

So, Abdul Carter wasn't out there for the first six plays, and that was kind of jarring.

Now, he played every play after that yesterday, so the question is, what the hell is going on?

And Mike Kafka was asked after the game,

why did you bench Abdul Carter? That was a coach's decision. That's something we talked about.

I want to make sure it was my decision. We'll just keep the rest of that in-house.

We'll keep the rest of that in-house. Just this was a coach's decision for me and talk to that

dole. So that's concerning. Apparently he said something this week, which really upset the coaching staff.

They benched him for six plays, and they don't want to really discuss it.

But, I mean, this season for him, and I think he'll be okay.

But this rookie campaign for Abdul Carter has not gone the way you would hope it would go.

No, absolutely not.

I mean, third overall pick, supposed to be the best player in the draft.

And I know there's some other stats with the pressures and stuff like that,
