And Thursday at 2, always one of my favorite times of the week when we get a chance

to talk to NBC's Chris Sims, and he joins us now. Chris, how you doing? Hey, I'm good, Michael. What's up

with you, man? How you doing? I'm doing fine as well. Shador Sanders, what do you see from him? Did

you look at any tape on him in college? He's starting this weekend, didn't have a good time coming in and replaced it Dylan Gabriel, but he is starting this weekend. What do you see of him? Yeah, well, I think first off, it's hard to judge last week, right? I don't think it's as bad as the stats look. It's an incredibly tough position to be put in there when you haven't worked with the first team or anything like that,

and having been a backup quarterback myself, when you haven't played in, you know,

two and a half months and everybody's played and kind of hitting on all cylinders

and ready for the NFL season and totally in that mode, that's hard to be thrown into that

moment. So I do expect to see a better Shadur Sanders as far as this game's

concerned. I think they can beat the Raiders, of course. I think the Raiders are arguably the worst team in football. The Browns have an unbelievable defense. And Shadour, you know, in college, I like Shadour. I did in a lot of ways. You know, one, he placed tough in the pocket. I think his arm is an NFL arm right now is there some other

things that he needs to clean up certainly does he hold the ball too long at times does he turn

down some throws at times where you think oh you you know you should throw this he's open and he's a

little conservative those are the things i'll be looking for but if there's a game or a thing to

feel it out be conservative don't turn the ball over, right? Cleveland's one of those teams. They can almost win the game with just the defense. So I think that'll be a tough one there, and we'll see where it goes. But there's not a lot of help around them, as you know, too. The Cleveland offensive system is very basic. I'm always underwhelmed watching that, and they don't run the ball like they used to. They're a solid running team. So, again, it's going to be an uphill battle for them, but I actually picked them to win the game 13 to 10. All right. So the narrative, Chris, is, you know, it wasn't fair to Sador. He, you know, he didn't get any first team reps.

And I saw a quote that Tom Moore, the offensive coordinator of the Colts,

had when Peyton Manning was there.

He said, Peyton Manning gets every first team rep.

He said, because if he goes down, we're shot anyway.

We have no chance.
