Welcome back to Austin, capital of the state of Texas, pretty much the capital of a lot of things, as we are delighted to be here to begin the second hour on a Friday afternoon Halloween.

And Chris Alcante has come dressed as the Texas athletic director.

How are you?

I'm awesome.

This morning is a little cold than it is right now, I rest assured.

This is as nice a day as we've had in a while.

But Chris, great to have you and let's just talk about this weekend because there are,

I just heard the beach boys are kind of going to be here.

The beach, that's my era. Paul, we're rocking out for you, buddy. You know what I mean? Yeah, I'm excited for this week. It's gonna be a heck of a game. It'll be awesome time. We haven't been home for 42 straight days. That's, I mean, I, you know, last year everybody accused Texas micromanaging the schedule, but not this year.

Well, I don't know how we micromanage the schedule last year, everybody accused Texas of micromanaging the schedule, but not this year. Well, I don't know how we micromanaged the schedule last year, but this year, because OU was, and played in Dallas, it was our home game. It ended up being a 42 game away from, 42 days away from Austin, Texas. So glad to be home. It's going to be an exciting time. But it's been a gauntlet.

It has.

So let's talk just a little bit about the team, first of all. And it's been probably not good for anybody's health watching this team the last couple weeks

because there have been some incredibly close calls.

But on the other hand, when you win close games, it does bring you back to reality of,

and it helps your team.

Well, I start to think from, you know,

we've lost 25 guys that made NFL rosters.

Didn't only get drafted,

but they made NFL roster the last two years.
