So Cody Bellinger had a Zoom phone call with the media yesterday.

Right after our show went up the air, it was at 3 o'clock.

It was Cody and Aaron Boone and Brian Cashman. And Brian... yesterday right after our show on up the air it was at three o'clock it was uh cody and

aran boone and and brian cashman and um brian cashman um was asked about running back last

year's team and this is what the yankee gm said it's not the same roster i would differ

there you know we have some players return at some point returning from the IL

that are important players, Gary Cole being obviously one of them. But we've had some additions

from the second half that got their feet wet with the Yankees, some with success, some with failures

or success. But once they'll now be in a position to join us with their feet on the ground and getting their sea legs under them, you know, with a fully, with a manager, too, learning how to utilize these guys and where they slot and everything else. Now, Aaron Boone on the perception that the team's running it back with the same roster. We got beat up in the division round. It didn't go our way, but that doesn't mean it's not

going to go our way the next time. Like, we think we're really good. It's a long ways away. Doesn't mean we're going to go win 94 games again. Doesn't mean we're going to win 88, doesn't mean, but we think we have the pieces. You know, we're going in with a lot of the guys that we brought in as kind of support pieces too that we brought in at the trade deadline last year as reinforcements

We're going into the season with a lot of those guys in place.

So I feel like our roster flexibility is better, night in and night out going in.

You know, obviously we're going to have some people returning to the mix.

We're so looking forward to getting Garrett back in the mix and at some point in the first half of the season.
