Yesterday the Brooklyn Net suspended Kyrie Irving for at least five games without pay due

to what the organization called his repeated failure.

To unequivocally say he has no anti-semitic beliefs despite pledging $500,000 on Wednesday

along with the nets to anti-hate groups Irving offered no clear apology for promoting a book

in film containing anti-semitic rhetoric on his social media.

Commissioner Anum Silver issued a statement early yesterday expressing his disappointment

that Irving did not offer an unqualified apology later Thursday afternoon Irving spoke to

the media.
