All right, to the association, the Lakers took on the Clippers last night and a game crucial to post season seating and lost

125 to 118 after trailing by as many as 24 points. The win for the Clippers

vaulted them to number five while the Lakers are number seven with home games against the suns on Friday and jazz on Sunday remaining. LeBron had 33 points,

30 of which came in the second half. Now, as I mentioned, that victory for the Clippers moves them into fifth in the Western

Conference and in line for a first round matchup with the sun to our seven to know when Katie is on the floor. Legs here joining Fitz and Harry and Fitz, I'm going to start with you on this conversation.

Who is the best team in California? The Warriors Lakers Clippers or the King? Okay, so hear me out. I got to qualify this a little bit. I know I just said the Lakers won't get out of the first round,

but if we're talking about scariest teams out of California, it's still the Lakers. I'm not a total idiot, despite what social media thinks. Like at some point,

look at it a little bit like Mike Tyson. Mike Tyson may not be the fighter he used to be, but if I'm picking fighters, I don't want to be punched in the face by Mike Tyson's on that list, right?

Like if the Lakers get right and everything goes perfectly and all of a sudden, the Harry's point earlier, AD and LeBron and everybody's got fresh legs and they feel like they can just do the schedule.

If all of that happens, it's like the equivalent of using the turbo button on a Mario game. You can get through a race that way.

If they're able to do that, then I think the Lakers are the scariest team. I don't think that if comes together, but if I'm banking off one that I don't want to face,

that's the if that scares me the most.

For me, I think I'm going to go with the defending champs and they're the defending champs for a reason.

When you look at a guy like Steph Curry who is the greatest shooter of all time, you have a guy who cleats Thompson who can score 40 points on any given night without dribbling the basketball more than three times.

I'm looking at the golden state warriors. You have a guy and Andrew Wiggins who's going to be coming back with that team.

Now, if you would have said you would ask me this question about a month ago when Andrew Wiggins situation was up in the air, I probably wouldn't have said the warriors because of Andrew Wiggins and what he means to that basketball team.

You look at Steph right now, average in 29, Clay Thompson, average in 21.7 point eight points per game. Jordan Poo coming out the bench, average in 20.

Now you have a guy and Andrew Wiggins, Wiggins 17 point one points per game. That's going to matter when it comes to play off basketball.

Also a guy that can defend. We see how vital he was last year in the NBA finals against adjacent Tatum, right?

A guy that a lot of people view as a superstar and one of the top players in today's game.

So I think the golden state warriors are a team right now that are the best team in California.

Well, look, if I'm Denver or Memphis, I don't think it's much of a reward to be a one or two seed to get either of these teams in the first round.
