I went to see Bruce Springsteen on Wednesday night at MetLife and he was phenomenal. I've

seen him over 50 times. I love I love the show that he puts on the energy that he exudes,

but I'm going to tell you all a little quiet secret, Don.

What time?

I'm sitting there about 20 minutes in. We had decent seats, but you still find yourself

looking at the big video boards adjacent to the stage because they get right in on the

performance face and Bruce is performing and I'm looking up at the board and I start

to get choked up. I'm getting choked up even talking about it because he I mean he looks

terrific, Don, for 73 or 74, but he's now an old guy.

And we've seen him be this vibrant presence, an electric presence on stage and now I don't

want to make it seem like he's really old, but there's a difference, like he doesn't

jump around like he used to, he kind of shuffles every now and then he walks downstairs

carefully and it got me, man, it got me and then I looked around the crowd and it's all

people of a certain age and we're all getting old too and it's like the sand's through

the hourglass, you don't stop time and I mean we should just be blessed that he's still

performing and he sounds the way he does and the band is so tight, but boy, Don, it hit

me that he's an old guy now and it's sad.

Michael, he's going to be 74 at the end of September, he's 74 years old.
